Countdown to NYCC 2026: Destro Designs Is Bringing Max Dose Destro to New York Comic Con

By Destro Designs – Viper Den Studios

It’s Monday night, New York Comic Con 2026 is almost here, and I feel like a kid getting ready to go on vacation.

I’m already packed.

I’m ready to get in the car.

Now I just need Thursday to get here.

For the first time, I’m heading to one of the biggest conventions around as Destro Designs – Viper Den Studios, and saying I’m excited would be a massive understatement.

New York Comic Con 2026 takes place October 8–11 at the Javits Center in New York City, and I’m heading straight into the madness.

My First Big Convention

This will be my first convention on this scale, so obviously I’m excited about everything that comes with it.

I’ll get to experience the G.I. Joe panel, meet members of the Hasbro crew, catch up with people like Aaron Sparrow, and finally meet a bunch of people from this incredible community face-to-face.

But for me, this trip is about more than walking around a convention floor.

It comes at a point where I’m working harder than ever to expand my reach, meet more people, build new relationships and do whatever I can to help grow the community that has given so much to me.

That is exactly what I plan to do in New York.

I’m crashing the Despoiler straight through the front doors and giving NYCC the MAX DOSE DESTRO treatment.

Because why the hell would I do it any other way?

Taking Our Community With Me

One of my biggest goals is to get this amazing community recognized by as many people as possible.

I want to strengthen the relationships we already have while opening doors to other creators, artists, writers, collectors and fan communities.

Because connecting communities doesn’t take anything away from what we’ve built.

It makes all of us stronger.

That has always been part of what Destro Designs and Viper Den Studios are about.

This trip is another opportunity to take that message somewhere bigger.

And trust me—

I’m bringing all of you with me.

Stay Tuned Thursday — We’re Going Live

If you can’t make it to NYCC this year, don’t worry.

I’m taking you along for the ride.

Starting Thursday, I’ll be live tweeting my way to New York and sharing coverage throughout the day, including photos, interviews, convention-floor updates and whatever insanity happens along the way.

And I already know there is going to be some insanity.

After the convention, we’ll keep it rolling.

I’ll have a full NYCC recap on the show Saturday, followed by exclusive material on the DIMSA Live! Show Monday.

There are also a few things happening that I’m deliberately keeping secret.

For now.

I don’t want to ruin all the surprises before I even walk through the doors.

But I can tease one of them.

Aaron Sparrow, Kneel Before Doomface and More

I’ll be doing a full-on spot with my brother Aaron Sparrow of Kneel Before Doomface.

Aaron and I will be exchanging gifts, talking comics and getting into plenty more that you’ll have to follow the NYCC coverage to see.

And yes…

I NEED some of those sweet, sweet comics.

There is a lot more planned, but you’re going to have to follow along to find out what happens.

Thank You, Mark Fogarty

I also need to take a moment and recognize someone who continues to make a difference in everything I’m doing.

My brother Mark Fogarty continues to open doors for me, and this trip is no different.

A lot of the opportunities I’m going to have at NYCC are possible because Mark continues to believe in what we’re building and helps create opportunities for me to take that next step.

So, brother:

Thank you.

You’re the fucking best.

I mean that.

The Countdown Is On

I just wanted to take a second before everything gets crazy and let everyone know what to expect.

Live updates.

Photos.

Interviews.

G.I. Joe.

Hasbro.

Comics.

Friends.

Community.

A few surprises.

And enough Destro to probably violate several New York City ordinances.

I am so motherfucking excited.

This isn’t just about me getting to attend NYCC.

Every person who has watched the shows, shared a post, commented, supported our work, bought something, talked toys with us or simply hung out with this community has helped make this possible.

So when I walk through those doors Thursday, I’m bringing every damn one of you in my pocket.

Because I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it:

The rising tide raises all boats.

New York Comic Con…

You’re about to get MAX DOSE DESTRO.

LET’S FUCKING GOOOOO!!!
